Meet Ru-Yi, a little panda stands a mere 2.5" tall. "Ru-Yi" means good wishes in Chinese. Ru-Yi is so ready for the hot summer; she carries the lovely parasol with her all the time. Ru-Yi is made of black and white vintage long pile fabric and has onyx bead eyes and a hand-sculptured polymer nose. She is completely jointed with a cotter pin and disk in her head and string joints in her limbs. Her arms are slightly bendable. I incorporated tiny magnets into her paws so that she can hold her hands together and carry tiny stuff (e.g. a tiny picture, a tiny note, needles, a tiny metal toy, etc…), she has no trouble to carry the parasol on her own and still stands well. Ru-Yi has been meticulously enhanced with additional dyeing and shading. She stood and sat on her own without any support during photo shooting!
